In questi giorni il Papa è negli stati uniti per una visita che per me era assolutamente necessaria da tempo. La nostra Chiesa in quel paese ha preso strade diverse dallo spirito con cui noi tutti cristiani ci identifichiamo. C'è giusto il bisogno di riportare tutto a una dimensione più spirituale e sana. Mi auguro che questo si possa ancora verificare...
On Wednesday the Pope addressed issues ranging from the sex abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church to the easy availability of pornography to the "alarming decrease" in Catholic marriages in the United States.
Benedict XVI said the sexual abuse of children by priests has caused a "deep shame" and called it "gravely immoral behavior."
I think the situaton is not so easy to resolve! I'll pray for that!
